Heavy-Duty Design:

HIGH-TORQUE MOTOR - 1.0 HP TEFC (totally enclosed fan cooled) X 2. Motors are protected from dust, debris and slurry.
GEARS: 11:1 Gear Ratio, Triple X-HD, Helical-Cut Industrial Gears. Produces high torque that is required to drive scrapers & metal diamonds with minimal amp draw
DIRECT-DRIVE plus STEEL COUPLER Vs. Belt-Drive Planetary Grinder: Plow through the thickest coatings without tripping a 20 amp circuit, and no coupler or belts to break.
- Direct-Drive - Industrial grade metal drive shaft: direct and solid connection from the motor to the diamond drive plate. This design produces far superior torque (vs. belt-drive) while only drawing 14.9 amps
- Belts & Pulleys: used in planetary grinders to increase their RPM speed (for polishing). However, torque is greatly diminished which is required for grinding and removal. To off-set the reduced torque, planetary grinders rely on extreme weight to grind concrete and remove coatings.

FLOATING HEAD - unique design provides 100% contact with the floor. The heads flexs by moving and adjusting to the contour of the floor. Automatic and self-adjusting, scraps and dig-ins to the floor are prevented --- in complete contrast, a consistent and uniform finish is produced.

3" round diamonds and standard size trapezoid tools are held securely in place by milled recesses and industrial magnets - tools are easy to change
Plate includes steel blanks, round and trapezoid, that fit in the unused recesses to prevent the unused openings from filling with debris.

Planetary Plate - Increases RPM Speed for Concrete & Stone Polishing

Increases driver speed from 165 to 400 RPM:
- Diamond driver plate (included with the grinder) & the planetary plant spin @ 165 RPM
- Six (6) individual pedestal heads (holds 3" diamond pads) spin @ 400 RPM each
Pedestal heads accept 3" round, semi-metal and 100% resin polishing pads
Planetary plate is equipped with its own metal clutch plate (see pic, left) - easy to install, removal and protects the plate and grinder
Pedestal heads with hook’n loop facing to securely hold the 3" round diamond pads
