Features & Benefits:

• HIGH-TORQUE MOTOR - 1.5 HP TEFC AC motors (totally enclosed fan cooled) - motors are protected from dust, debris and slurry.

• GEARS:  11:1 Gear Ratio, Triple X-HD, Helical-Cut Industrial Gears.  Produces high torque to drive scrapers & metal diamonds with minimal amp draw

• DIRECT-DRIVE & STEEL COUPLER (vs. belt-driven, planetary grinders):  plows through the thickest coatings without tripping a 20 amp circuit, and no coupler or belts to break.

  • Direct-Drive:  Industrial grade metal drive shaft, direct connection from the motor to the drive plate, produces far superior torque while only draws 14.9 amps

  • Belts & Pulleys:  used in planetary grinders to increase their RPM speed (speed is used for polishing.)  However, torque is greatly diminished;  to off-set this, planetary grinders rely on extreme weight to grind concrete and remove coatings.

• FLOATING HEAD - unique design provides 100% contact with the floor.  The heads flex by moving move up and down and following the contour of the floor.  Self-adjusting prevents scraps on bumps, avoids dig-ins, provides a consist, uniform finish.

• APPLICATIONS - Does it All:  HD grinding, concrete & stone polishing, coating & sealer removal, scarification, deep cleaning of concrete, natural stone and other hard surfaces

• Equipped with forward and reverse on the driver to navigate irregular surfaces and to avoid obstacles
  

• WHEELS DOWN - Important:  Steer forward and backward and turn unlike the side-to-side movement of a swing machine (right) which is hard to control and requires a long learning curve often taking days to master.  With a wheels-up/swing machine you are constantly fighting against its swinging movement especially during high torque grinding and coating removal projects. 
  
  FACT:  For concrete grinding and coating removal, high torque is required.  With a wheels-down machine, unskilled workers can become experts within minutes and worker fatigue is reduced 120%.
  

• 360° DUST COLLECTION - dust collection system is built into the head cover ~ will not disappoint.  Directs the dust upwards to the 2" vacuum port.

• Foot Operated Tilt Back for Easy Transporting

• Dual steel operating triggers with negative pressure on/off switch

• Disassembles for easy handling down stairs

• Thumb-operated safety switch with comfort cushion grips

• 2-PIECE DESIGN:  allows the handle-carriage to be easily separated from the dual motor head - advantageous when the machine needs transported in to hard to reach locations such as basements or mezzanines.

PLATE FEATURES:

• Includes the NP9200 Clutch Plate (industry standard) - provides easy attachment to the grinder's 3-tab driver.  The clutch system prevents bodily injury and damage to the plate and grinder.

• 3/8" steel plate, powder-coated for corrosion resistance and easy cleaning

• Damping isolators built-in to reduce vibrations and provide flex over high points and lippage

• 3" round diamonds and standard size trapezoid tools are held securely in place by milled recesses and industrial magnets - tools are easy to change

• Plate includes steel blanks, round and trapezoid, that fit in the unused recesses to prevent the unused openings from filling with debris.
