Description / Features

• Advanced filter media - designed to make breathing easier while lasting longer

  • 3M’s Advanced Electret Media (AEM) - provides a comfortable lightweight, easy-breathing combination - inventory needs and training requirements of safety equipment are reduced because this filter works for many different applications

  • In customer field trials, 3M™ 2200 Series filters lasted up to twice as long as standard filters (209x)

  • Initial pressure drop of 2200 Series P100 filters is 30% lower than standard P100 Series filters

  • Lower pressure drop over time can extend filter life

• NIOSH approved for environments containing certain oil and non-oil based particles

• Provides relief against nuisance level organic vapors and for ozone protection up to 10X OSHA PEL

• Use with 3M™ Half and Full Face pieces 6000, 7000 and FF 400 Series with a bayonet-style filter/cartridge connection

• When properly fitted, use in a variety of applications including welding, brazing, torch cutting, metal pouring, soldering and exposure to lead, asbestos, cadmium, arsenic and MDA for concentrations up to 10 times the Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL) with half face pieces or 50 times PEL with full face pieces

• Full face pieces must be quantitatively fit tested to claim assigned protection factor above 10 in negative pressure mode

• Also offers nuisance level relief from organic vapors that are below the PEL - nuisance level refers to concentrations not exceeding OSHA PEL or other applicable government occupational exposure limits, whichever is lower

• Not NIOSH certified for use against ozone

• Do not use for respiratory protection against organic vapors or in environments that are immediately dangerous to life or health (IDLH).
